Far-right extremism is, unfortunately, much more prevalent than most people would think. Even in our own local communities the threat of far-right violence is very real. The purpose of antifascist education is not to make people afraid of an abstract idea of fascism, or some mysterious reactionary villain lurking in the shadows. These people have names, these groups have a history we must learn from. The state has shown itself to be largely disinterested in combating fascism, and in many cases has actively collaborated with a variety of far-right groups. For this reason, it’s up to us to protect ourselves and our communities from those who wish to do us harm. The first step is education, we must know our enemy. This section contains information about local fascists threats in the Western NY area. Use this to educate your friends, family, coworkers, and neighbors.
